SAN DIEGO — Proper use of imiquimod has produced high success rates in treating actinic keratosis and superficial basal cell carcinoma, but some Mohs surgeons caution that skin cancer patients are sometimes inadequately treated with the drug.
“I think we are going to see a huge backlash against Aldara,” Dr. flonase. Kenneth Gross said at a meeting sponsored by the American Society for Mohs Surgery. “It’s unfortunate, because it is a wonderful medicine.’”
